Olivia & Brendan’s Fairytale Cliff House Wedding

A girl meets a boy in school. Boy likes girl, girl likes boy. Girl scribes prophecy of their inevitable marriage in a grade school love note (which she preserves and and gift to him on their wedding day). They fall in love forever. Fast forward through two decades of memories and many adventures through their shared love for Disney World, and Olivia and Brendan are standing upon the edge of the Maine coast saying their vows at Cliff House! If ever there was a couple whose love story could be told so perfectly in a Taylor Swift song, it’s these two.

It was a fairytale wedding planned by Olivia and Brendan, with expert guidance from Lauren Gouthro at Starborn Weddings + Events and the talent of the dream team of wedding vendors linked below. A few of the many noteworthy highlights from their wedding to inspire couples planning their dream wedding:

Olivia and Brendan opted to wrap the dance floor in white with a custom monogram in the middle. It looked absolutely luxurious, and as an added bonus — it provided a nice bounce fill from below for their photos (white reflects to reduce contrast and fill in shadows, whereas black subtracts to make them darker).
A first look with dad — it’s an emotional thrill that is a treat for the bride and an honor for the father. Olivia’s father was surely delighted to have this special exchange with his daughter.
A live painting by Devin Tormey that began at the ceremony and was finished at the reception. Talk about an heirloom to treasure forever!
