Matthew & Abbygale’s Wedding at Mountain Star Estate

Matthew & Abbygale chose to have their wedding at Mountain Star Estate in Rangeley, Maine. We hit it off right away on the first phone call to discuss their wedding and I knew this was going to be a beautiful and fun wedding in a new location.

It’s always nice when you have your wedding in one location — getting ready, ceremony, and reception. The Mountain Star Estate has it all, with beautiful views of meadows, mountains, and Rangeley Lake. The reception space is newly renovated and feels like a step back in time; it’s a historic space that feels new. The spacious farmhouse is exactly where you want to go to spend the weekend with friends and family in northern Maine.

Mountain Star Estate owners Trav and Sharon were flawless hosts — welcoming, attentive, and as friendly as could be. This is exactly the kind of support you need behind the scenes, tending to things all day with a smile on their face. Even when the weather goes south and outdoor plans must be amended. The ceremony was setup beautifully inside with the vision of on-site coordinator Adrian Heatley. It was impressive to see how versatile the space can be, quickly changed from ceremony setup to cocktail hour and back to reception.

Despite the rain, Matthew and Abbygale held a heartfelt ceremony with a few good laughs. The evening went smoothly, with a packed dance floor that concluded with a trip outside to pop some champagne to celebrate!
