This is Shelly. Shelly is EXACTLY the kind of warm, supportive person whom you want by your side on the happiest and darkest of days, whether’s that’s your wedding day or navigating goodbyes to a loved one.

Talk about the perfect look! This white on white look worked great for Shelly’s chaplain headshot. The pop of blue really stands out, too.

The clean white background is desirable in almost any corporate setting. The trick the white background is to properly expose it such that it doesn’t throw glare back into your lens. (I see this mistake made a lot where photographers just blast the background and throws it everything off, OR the background is “almost” pure white and it looks dingy against a white page or in a web browser)

Sometimes when you work in a large hospital or corporate setting, you need a headshot that is clean and simple. This is exactly what we made here. The warm creme tone goes perfectly with the blues in her shirt.

Did you know that deep down in our subconscious, we are wired to immediately “trust” someone when we can see their hands? It goes back to the ol’ caveman days when anyone could be carrying a weapon. Empty hands = friend, trust, safety. We joked about this, but Shelly knew this too!
